I would like to propose to my instructor and fellow classmates the topic proposal for essay four. The topic I would like to propose is the need for a change in the way credit card companies distribute credit cards to the high school and traditional college age groups. My fellow classmates make an excellent intermediate level audience for this proposal because we are all college students. With my research of this topic my audience will be more informed of the need for change and with their new knowledge they will move from an intermediate to an advanced level of thinking on this topic. I anticipate some of my classmates to object to this topic because-who does not want to have their very own credit card? With my research I intend to inform the audience why traditional college-age students should not be able to qualify for credit cards or if they do they should have to have a co-signer on their account. In order to get my audience to look at the need for regulation, I will need to provide them with statistical facts why this should be.
