PART 1: ESSAY QUESTION This should be presented in an essay format which should include: • A clear introduction that indicates your understanding of the question set and the significance of the subject matter, along with an outline of how you propose to address the question. • A main body of discussion, concentrating first upon the negotiation theory we have looked at, and secondly, upon the application/evaluation of the theory in the context of the artist/record label relationship (referenced using Harvard please!) • A conclusion that recaps on the key aspects of your discussion and summarises your evaluation of whether business negotiation theory could be more effectively employed in music industry practice.
