Outline Introduction: Includes thesis statement and the general background information you plan to discuss (can be bulleted) Body: Topic sentences for each point you will be making in the body of your paper to support your thesis. Remember each topic sentence is in its own way its own "mini -thesis statement" that will supprt your main argument. Conclusion: Paraphrase of thesis statement and discuss points to be wrapped up (can be bulleted) Annotated works cited: A list of works that you are using or are planning to use- typed in 12pt Times Roman font and in MlA format. Minimum of 8 works (3 may be internet sources). Annotations are notes that you will make underneath each source explaining the sources subject matter briefly and why it is revelant to your argument. Note cards: you may submit your citations in an organized Word cdocument with your works cited in place of cards. Minimum 18 notes each note includes - Quote or papaphrase that you will be using to substainate a point along with the correct MLA in-text citation. Includes - Title and author of the source for each citation. Rought Draft- A completed rough draft with in-text citations & a rough draft of your works cited page (no annotations) must also be completed. Final draft: a completed, revised final draft in correct MLA style with a works cited page. Formating requirments: 12pt TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT, 1 INCH MARGINS 7-8 PAGES, MINIMUN 8 WORKS CITED
