Write a critical review of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Gilda". Use bell hooks'' book, and Reel to Real, as a model for your paper. Focus on a particular theme, such as sexuality, and analyze the role of women and how they are portrayed in these particular movies. Also Pay specific attention to the intersections of gender with other forms of difference, and note how power and privilege operate. Again be sure to reference readings, and all sources as well as additional research. A minimum of five resources (other than class readings) is required.
