Outline Follows: Antonio Munoz This is Your Life I. Introduction of me: a. Antonio Munoz Jr. b. Youngest of 2 children, my sister is 15 years older. c. Parents are Petra Cardenas and father is Antonio Munoz Sr. d. Sister is Maria Quadalupe Quintero; she is married with 2 boys and 1 girl. e. Born in Laredo, Texas on January 25th, 1965. II. What things do I remember about my childhood? a. Family having a hard time to make ends meet. b. Parents made sure my sister and I had everything we needed. c. Parents spent all their spare time with us. d. Father worked for a local newspaper as a typesetter. e. Mother was a housewife. f. We attended our local church on Sunday. III. Hobbies and interests I had in my childhood? a. Sports and computers sprouted my interests by the age of 7. b. Baseball and football were my favorite sports to play. c. Played little league baseball for 3 years. d. My first computer was a used Radio Shack TRS-80. e. My sister bought me my first Apple computer as I entered junior high. f. I wrote my first computer hangman game in Apple Basic computer language for a Science Fair. IV. What I did after I left High School? a. I attended classes at Taylor Business School in Chicago for 2 years and received a diploma in accounting and bookkeeping. b. Worked for Clark Oil for 2 years as an Assistant Manager. c. Dated until I married my first wife in 1989, divorced in 1994. d. Met my second wife in 1995, and have been together since. e. We had a handsome son, born on February 7th, 2006. V. My current work history? a. I have been in the steel industry for 22 years, 8 years were on the floor as a laborer and machine operator, and the other 14 years were in supervision. b. I started with Ryerson steel in 1987, where I acquired my knowledge of steel products. c. I started with Charter Steel in 2007, where I hold the position of Director of Plant Operations. d. I oversee all plant operations, quality control, ISO, and plant safety. VI. What are my greatest achievements so far? a. I have three, my wife, my son, and my education pursuit. VII. What are my personal and professional goals? a. Achieving a Master’s Degree in business. b. Secure an executive position in the field I am studying. c. To be an excellent role model for my son.
