Develop a Marketing Plan for a UK FTSE-listed company for the next year/3 years. The plan should include the following sections: • Mission Statement • Financial Summary • Market Overview • SWOT Analysis/Analyses • Assumptions • Marketing objectives and strategies • 3-year forecast and budgets Graphical representations should be included where judged appropriate, and the report must be word-processed. Annual Reports for some of the FTSE 100 companies may be found online on the Internet through the Financial Times portal or through the website of the particular company. You will be given one of the FTSE100 companies, chosen at random. You may exchange it with the company given to another student or with the lecturer if there are reserve companies available. You may contact the company if you wish, but you should not rely on any useful additional material being given to you beyond what is available on the Internet. All of these companies will have published (printed) Annual Reports. It is a disadvantage to be given a company of which you have prior extensive knowledge – you may be making false assumptions. Word Limit: 3000 words. Students should make use of MINTEL reports, accessible online and through the Anglia Ruskin University library. The Harvard Reference System should be used (there will be severe penalties for unreferenced material).
