The article makes use of statistical studies to expose this bombshell: happy workers don''t make the most productive employees. Other studies point out that these same people are less careful with their personal health, safety precautions and are less risk adverse. The analogy with the debacle on Wall Street is interesting and attempts to connect the dots-happy and euphoric execs. on Wall Street were less vigilant,took their eye off the ball while taking questionable risk and so on. It appears that qualitative statistics is what is embedded into the fabric of almost everything we read. I suppose, that until taking this class that I rarely thought about these statistical snippets which support , so much of the information we get . 3.
