Interpersonal and group dynamics have been researched and published in various journals for many years. The ability to coordinate people into teams or groups where personality conflicts are minimized and interpersonal synergy thrives is a fascinating and intriguing for researchers to study and define. According to some scholars, there is no proof that teamwork does improve organizational performance (Salas et al., 1999). A majority of organizational theories (e.g. Wisner & Feist, 2001) argue that a team is an efficient organism that links organizational goals. Studying the functioning of teams, researchers (e.g. Elton Mayo, F.J. Roethlisberger, T.N. Whitehead and W.J. Dickson) have established that interpersonal relationships are an important factor influencing productivity. The authors of the following article suggest that an organization''s success can be influenced by group dynamics. How do they operationalize the construct "group dynamics"? What is it comprised of?
