Write a persuasive training memo to a particular colleague at work or in your WRTG 390 class. You are trying to convince this person to use a specific online writing lab (often called an OWL) for a specific purpose, such as writing an application letter, learning proofreading skills, doing a writing tutorial, or using HTML. In the prewriting stage you need to select and use one of the OWLs in our WEBLIOGRAPHY or your own favorite OWL (optional). Organize your reasons in a well-written 6Cs persuasive memo; see especially chapters 8 for persuasive and 9 for memo format in Bell and Smith. Then submit by the due date your carefully proofread memo as a plain, text enhanced or HTML document to your folder.
