1. You will act as a marketing strategy consultant to review the competitive pressures on a specific product or service from three very different points of view 2. Analysis of the industry using the five-forces tool and a discussion of generic strategy options (Porter 1980a,b,c) in light of what you have discovered about the competition. 3. Analyzing the company and product from a resource based view, listing tangible and intangible assets as well as capabilities, summarizing how they create value and rating them as a source of competitive advantage using a Likert scale or other method of your devising.
