here are guidelines; Final Research Paper Guidelines The final paper for English 1003 is a researched and documented paper based on your chosen nursing-related topic. Your paper must include an explicit, well-phrased thesis statement in the introductory paragraph. Then, in the body part, you provide at least 3-4 SUPPORT (data, statistics, professional opinions and research results, etc.) to validate your argument. When you elaborate your points, do not forget to use research sources to support them in order to establish the credibility and authority. After your provide your supporting points, you need to indicate some opposing opinions. Restate briefly what they are about and try to prove them wrong/invalid. You may conclude your paper by reemphasizing your points or providing a constructive solution to the unsettled issue. Since it is the final paper for the semester, expectations for the quality of your paper are high. You are supposed to be able to illustrate the progress of your writing in your final paper. You should concentrate on critically assessing the ideas and opinions encountered in research and discussion. It is imperative that your final research paper demonstrate depth and analysis and move beyond unsupported generalizations. The research paper MUST follow the standard APA format and reference page (samples can be found in your APA Manual). Your research paper should be typewritten in 12 pt.
