This paper is suppose to discuss the effect of permafrost on the overall development of northern Canada. The use of relating climate fluctuations in relation to permafrost distribution would be a good factor to use. I would also like the paper to discuss permafrosts significance in the economic development in northern Canada. This corresponds to oil and gas activitites, as well as, mining and the agricultural aspect in northern Canada would be good to note. Use these related fields to discuss the impact it has on local Aboriginal communities. Here is a format that I would like to use; Introduction, Body- 1. (permafrost distribution in northern Canada, climate influences, formation of Permafrost, and some related models for interpretation); 2. (enineering considerations on permafrost, such as, roadways, buildings, transporation methods, ground structure integrity to support buildings, etc...); 3. (the significance behind economic development, settlement patterns, and the popualtion density in relation to permafrost distribution in northern Canada, and the importance of imported southern goods/services), then a Conclusion with references to follow. The use of diagrams would be good, such as, numerical graphs.
