The Chapter should start with brief into, followed by brief history/definition of budget hotels including market share and key players within hospitality industry in the UK. It should identify what current economic downturn is and what are main chances/risks associated with it in hospitality (i.e. staff scared to loose job, consumers rather stay for holiday at home due to poor exchange rate, increased fuel prices influence plane ticket sales thus, amount of international travelers decreased), what can we learn from previous crises? mention recession in 1991 and 9/11/2001 in US and how it influenced UK Budget Hotel Sector (increase/decrease in consumers) in case if decline in consumers what hotels management did to win them back?
