Summarizing and understanding of and reactions to the assigned reading in relation to the topics, concepts, and perspectives. 5-6 paragraphs. Do not say "This reading is about......"instead, try to write in a way when u read it, catch the audience. Concentrate on feelings. take time to consider emotional reaction to the topic. Avoid to say "I liked/ disliked this reading...." Also remember that this is an introductory sociology class. As such, need to try to relate issues you are discussing to the theoretical perspectives and concepts of an introduction to sociology class.
