Your paper will be two thousand words(9 pages) with the last page becoming a Works Cited. You must create a thesis statement and outline, and submit those separately with the completed paper.(1 page) The paper must be submitted as typed, not handwritten, in black, size 12 Times Roman or a very similar font. Your paper must use five separate sources for documentation, and one of these must be Reading Lolita in Tehran. Papers are to be double-spaced throughout and have one-inch margins on top, bottom, and all sides. This includes the Works Cited page. Hanging indentation gives the delineation between entries, so do not triple or quadruple space between entries. Indent the first and all other paragraphs at least five letter spaces. Do not use block paragraphing for MLA style papers. Do not use a cover sheet. A parenthetical citation must be used every time you use a direct quote or summarize or paraphrase from any work. As a rule of thumb, it is impossible to use too many citations in a research paper. It is very easy to under-cite.
