I put together some outlines to the essay, so would like to proof it, make sure it express what being requested and that it has smooth and good flow of ideas and structure.. ==== Start ==== Throughout the past 14 years, I worked as a Network Consulting Engineer and got assigned to different projects across the world. My job allowed me to visit more than fifteen different countries spanning from North America to Europe, Africa and Asia to provide technical consulting services and technical project management in different environments. The variety of setups, problems and solutions has given me a high exposure to diverse cultures, different work habits, problem resolution methodologies and management styles in different markets. This exposure has enriched my technical skills and developed customer communication and project management skills which have always been my asset whenever I get assigned a new project. I believe that there are two main pillars for a successful professional regardless of the profession nature. The first pillar is a concrete knowledge foundation gathered through academic studies and field certificates. The second pillar is special skills gathered from continuous hands-on practices and real life problem-solving challenges. I think that my engineering school has successfully established the academic foundation and along with my field certificates - especially my Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) certification which is the most highly regarded network certification available in today’s market- both have fulfilled the first pillar of a success technical engineer. Managing large and enterprise customer projects although has given me the real life challenges that are necessary for the second pillar of a successful engineer and a successful project and business manager, it has shown me that I am lacking the first pillar of success as a business manager. I realized my need to build a good business knowledge foundation through field certificates and business training. I therefore took multiple project management trainings and then pursued the Project Management Professional (PMP) field certification and achieved it, but this is still not enough and doesn’t satisfy my desire to learn more and establish a better business knowledge foundation. With today’s global market extending beyond cultures and borders, I believe the customer communication skills, technical experiences and the culture exposure I gathered throughout my career along with good international business administration skills can be a valuable asset to any enterprise organization. My goal is to utilize all of these experiences to fill business gaps that may exist in enterprise businesses. I believe by joining your Master of Business Administration program, I can learn how to integrate all of my skills and experiences to manage a successful business. I can be an owner of a large corporation or a business of my own, CTO playing a major role in the company’s decisions, or may be even a CEO. Once I reach such a goal, I am sure that there will still be another step to go to and another higher and more ambitious goal to attain. ==== End ====
