The purpose of thesis is to show that supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids reduces the inflammation and decreases the level of inflammatory mediators such as IL-6 and cytokines and improves the common arthritis symptoms such as morning stiffness and tender joints in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The thesis should be based on library research and provide data obtained from databases such as Cochrane Library, PubMed, MEDLINE and EMBASE with high levels of evidence. The data should support the beneficial effects of omega-3 fatty acids supplementation in rheumatoid arthritis. The thesis is Literature Review and should include: 1)Table of Contents- providing a listing of the thesis contents in numerical order. 2) Abstract-include objectives of the review, definitions of any unusual terms, findings from the literature and significant conclusions based on the literature. 3)Introduction-express the purpose and scope of the paper, clarifications, definitions and controversial issues should be discussed. 4)Literature Review-review the studies in the scientific literature. Begin by pursuing relevant chapters in books or review papers.Avoid citation of books, opposing viewpoints may be included, avoid direct quotations even with quotation mark. Base the thesis on recent biomedical literature.papers that are more than a decade and half old are unacceptable. 5)Discussion- own ideas about the literature that I''m supporting the beneficial effects of omega-3 fatty acids on patients with RA.Discuss alternative explanations and suggest possible future studies.6) Conclusion-conclude with a statement summarizing the main findings and suggesting possibilities for future research. 7)References-should be cited in the numerical order in which they are presented in the paper.8)supportive information-any graphs, figures, tables should be incorporated directly into the text in the order that they are mentioned in the paper.
