write a 4 page paper on one of the following questions. the paper must be typed, double-spaced, use standard font (12 point times new roman or the equivalent), margins (1” at the top and bottom, 1.25” on the sides), and spacing (there are to be no extra spaces between paragraphs). it must also be stapled. you may use in-text citations instead of footnotes – for example, “plato wrote, ‘….’” (plato, “the apology,” at http://eawc.evansville.edu/anthology /apology.htm). You may not, however, use any outside sources (Cliff’s Notes, Spark Notes, book reviews, internet web sites like Wikipedia, etc.) to answer the questions below. Any use of sources other than the primary source readings, the course textbook, or course lecture notes to compose your essay will result in a two-grade penalty. You are required to run the paper through “turnitin.com” before you hand it in, and it is due by the end of class on Friday, December 5. Students choosing to do this assignment must also notify me at least one week before this due date.
