Actually I applied Standard Chartered International Graduate Programme for Corporate Real Estate Division but they asked me to change division to Consumer Banking. So I need to change it. (Maximum - 250 Words) Answer: Project Evaluation and Development (My University Course) I teamed up with four other classmates to evaluate and develop a project in the Netherlands. The project entailed developing a virtual leisure centre in the Netherlands. During the project I was responsible for facility management, superstructure and substructure, health and safety, and compiled and wrote the final documents including the Environmental Impact Assessment and Health & Safety files, as well as ensured the project was delivered on time. Throughout all stages of the project, I was the key point of facility management and heath & safety so ensured our team was aware of, and sensitive to, building engineering needs. The final result was a very favourable evaluation by the jury. My Family’s Restaurant Last year I provided some basic consulting work for my family’s restaurant. First, I recommended changing the ownership of the business, as well as the business name. This allowed us to take advantage the government’s tax strategy, which reduced the corporation tax from 10% to 1%. I then advised developing the real estate. We developed the land in the style of an English garden, which attracted more customers than before. Furthermore, we received sponsorship from City Hall in the form of 10,000,000 won and regular advertisement exposure because the restaurant makes a cultural contribution to the city. Also, City Hall extended the bus line to our restaurant to facilitate access. (Maximum - 250 Words) Answer: Computer skills: During my first year at university, I completed a course in ''Computing for the Built Environment''. The purpose of the course was to introduce the information technology available and applied in the UK construction industry. These modules included use of the following software packages: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint, and I am highly proficient in the use of these packages. As a keen computer user at home, I am also familiar with both Internet and Eudora. Negotiation skills: From my experience as Financial Manager at UCLKS, my negotiation skill has been developed. When it was necessary to achieve cost savings for certain events, I did not hesitate to negotiate with other people on financial matters. (e.g. Korean Society Annual Party, with 2000 pounds of budget I managed to borrow the club for 1500 pounds by negotiation where our society sold 600 tickets and left total profit of 3000 pounds). The role enabled me to gain further experience to improve my numerical and public speaking skills. Team Player: There were a lot of project within my university course that involved a team working. From my past experience, I enjoy being part of a team. I like the camaraderie and that feeling of all working together towards a common goal. I believe a good team member should be communicative, supportive of the other members, flexible and unselfish. I try to demonstrate these qualities when working with others.
