Every person is different and all have their different ways and beliefs in life. It is amazing to look around you at others. You realize that, although all have different needs, all are in search of the same thing. Happpiness. I wonder every day why it is so difficult to be found when happiness is so simple. I have dicided there are 3 main reasons for alot of unhappiness inthe world. Materialism, selfishness and the judgemental ways that tend to tear up the structyure of the world and cause stress and unhappiness of those within. People spend a lot oftimethinkingabout what others have and what they do not have. People get out about making sure they get the things that ,in reality, they really do not need. Society judges people by the brands of clothing one wears, the type of car one drives, the neighborhood one lives in or any other materialistic feature that can be found. The world has gotten to a point that it does not matter the kind of person you are. It matters what you have to display that draws in the power and respect. I think about how simple it would be to get happiness amoung all people in the world. If people could see through the materialism and look at the inner person and spirit , they would make better decisions on eachother. Selfishness is a demon that has grown stronger thoughout every human being in the world. It rains on every familly, community, state and nation. Everyone searchers for the wrong in others instead of seeing the right in a person. I have found throughout my life that it is easier for me to give rather than recieve. Giving makes me feel have and content with myself. This could be an asset if everyone could see the advantage to giving instead of just taking. It would lead to fellowship and unity. I try to point out the good in a person when I hear someone tearing a person apart. I was taught this in my upbringing from my mother who did this and taught us to learn from every aspect of others whether good or bad. It has mad me a stronger person. I hadve realixed that selfishness, materialism and the judmental ways are not something that people intentionally try to have. People have learned these traits from others and eventually know of no other way to be. If there was a way towork on ourselves individually and slowly tear down these negative ways we have all adapted to, I feel it would be a better , happier world. Loving oneself is the most important part of recovery from the evilness we find around us. If each person stepped back and began to love their own self, a lot of the need for materialistic fronts would not be needed. Each person would have pride in themselvesand be able, then, to care about others. Thinkin about the whats and whys of the problems society has, makes me realize I would like to work to help people. The warmth and sernity accomplished when I help someone through stress and emotional issues makes every part of it worthwhile and beneficial to my own inner growth and happiness. I know it takes a special talent to see through people and help them see it too. I enjoy seeing and feeling happiness and my dream is to be a part of making it.
