Introduction to the research topic chosen:this should provide background rationale/information outlinning the issue/problem/question and explain the research context.supporting citations/references will be used throughout the narrative, and the introduction would normally conclude with a statement of the Aim(S) and the underpinning objectives to fulfil the Aim(S). Preliminary Literature Review: this will contain an up-to-date summary of the lierature that surrounds the specific issue/problem/question and will critically discuss the key concepts and/or theories that you will be using from the perspectives of a variety of authors. Methodology: this will contain critical discussion/rationale for the chosen methodology.This should cover the aspects of general design/ strategy (e.g survey, case study, action research) and the specific methods/techniques of data acquisition that will be used. where primary data is proposed then the rationale behind sampling strategy should be discussed (draft questionnaire/interveiw questions may be included as appendices) Project Planning: A section may be included that outlines an Action Plan, including intended research activities, dates and milestones over the period of the research.(this may be in the form of a gantt chart, and again may be included as an Appendix).
