this is a masters degree essay of 5,000 words(no more/ no less)(well there abouts). I must have it back to me before the 1st december if thats OK. I need to basically agree and argue against what writers say......... here are the things i need to consider for each film: 1)directors portrayal of reality 2)audience expectations 3) whatever else you think so i need: 1) early french and russian films- influence on non linear narrative (ie: un chen d andelou and lage dor....... etc etc) 2)4 films......1)pulp fiction 2) city of god 3) natural born killers and another that is in the non linear narrative(magnolia) form.... but please, constantly refer to as many as possible......... to those of the past(films that have influenced) hitchcock maybe?? eisentstein must consider eisensteins writings on intellectual montage i will need to consider WITH THESE FILMS here the directors portrayal of reality (through the use of the long take) whether they accurately portray reality etc etc.......... (the four main parragraphs of the films) need to consider audience expectations........ i have attached a document which is some notes that i HAVE TAKEN. all referenced so you can see the books I have looked at.... but obviously I need loads more books, journals etc etc...........
