Capstone Required Content and Format Analytical reports analyze a problem or an opportunity to see how it affects the company. These reports often end with a recommend about how the company should respond. The capstone for this course requires students to complete the framework of such a report. Choose a business that is experiencing a problem or weakness and conduct research to identify possible solutions for that issue. Your capstone must clearly define the problem or weakness by providing adequate background information via primary and secondary research. Recommendations on how to correct the problem or improve the weaknesses must be made. In your capstone, you must conduct primary (original research design) and secondary research (annotated bibliography) to support your assertion that there is a problem AND to support your recommendation. The following elements must be completed, compiled into one document, and presented as the capstone for this course: · Title page · Table of contents · Executive summary · Description of problem · Primary research results · Annotated bibliography · Conclusions and recommendations · References page · Appendix Capstone Mechanics Your Capstone should be as long as it needs to be, no longer, no shorter. If you have completed the content requirements listed above, completed the report format requirements as referenced in class, then your Capstone is complete whether it is 8 pages or 20 pages long. Your document must adhere to APA guidelines. Your learning throughout the course will continually refer to this assignment with "touch points", indicating where the student''s progress should be. You are required to upload their paper''s file using the upload file section of Module 6 no later than the assignment due date and time. The Capstone is to be completed by Sunday, midnight of Module 6. You will upload your completed capstone in the Capstone area of Module 6. Evaluation The capstone assessment designed to assess your critical thinking problem solving, and communication skills. Your report will be judged for its clarity, relevance, coherence, logic, depth, consistency, and fairness. Additionally they have tendency to spend more time in the office than the restaurant floor.
