This paper is supposed to introduce a new program that will help with poverty in America. I chose to "put children first," because I feel it will start a chain effect in america. By educating them and assuring their health, it take the burden off parents. Because it is only a theory it can expand in any direction. I chose a broad topic so that there will be more to write about. 1. Describe the program. 2. Explain how the program will be effective. 3. Explain how the program is consistent with the values of the social work profession. 4. Estimate (generally, not exactly) the cost and justify it. 5. Identify the funding source(s). Explain why this is an appropriate way to fund the program. 6. Include a counterargument. What reason(s) would opponents to the program give to explain why it should not be implemented? Explain why you rejected the counterargument.
