This is an Undergraduate dissertation in Social Work. I am conducting qualitative research using semi structured interviews. I would be interviewing three managers and four service users in order to get a perspevtive from the service provider and from the service user. Recent government legislation and policy has sought to equalise service provision to BEM children and families, as it has been recognised that services in the past were Eurocentric and largely inappropriate to these BEM service users, with charges of services having a ''melting pot'' approach. Using a feminist perspective, I would like to uncover from the service user if provision has meant success in terms of producing better outcomes for their families. I would also like to examine from managers what their views are of services and what do they see as the strengths and constraints from which they work.
