The work should be presented with four distinct sections i.e. introduction, discussion, conclusion and a list of references. All submissions must be word processed or typed. Please include on the title page a declaration that the work is original and has been completed by the Author. It is appreciated by the programme team that some applicants will have not undertaken formal academic study in the past. The work must be written in the third person. Normal grammar and punctuation rules should be adhered to. Chose supporting information with care. Ensure it is relevant to the focus of you argument. Do not quote others work without reference to the authorship (Plagerism) Use recognized texts from authoritative sources eg BMJ, eMJ, Department of health. NICE, etc. Avoid texts such as wikepeida The referencing should adhere to the Harvard system Make sure that the reference in the body of the text matches to an item in the formal list of references The focus may be on one or two specific topics. An example may the use of new standards for response times or new PGDs or Protocols. It should be immediately obvious to a reader the link between the authors work and the requirements of the Bradley report The Discussion component should be centred on the author’s day to day operational activities.
