Dodie works part time in the canteen at university. As she is working there one day, s she slips two bars of chocolate into her bag. Whilst the other assistant turns her back in order to get the milk from the fridge,Dodie takes a & #163;20 note from the till . She later uses the money to buy some goods from the supermarket. The goods come to a total of & #163;15.00 . By mistake, the shop assistant hands her a & #163;10 note in change instead of & #163;5. When Dodie realises what has happened, she buys some cigarettes and a magazine with the remaining money. On her way home , she receives a phone call from her mother who invites her over for tea. Before arriving, Dodie decides to take her mother''s antique diamond ring that she knows her mother keeps in her bedside drawer when she was questioned, Dodie tells the police that she intended to put the money back in the till next time she was at work Advise the CPS as to any possible offences that Dodie has committed I need you to point out the criminal liabilities in senerio above , and also citing the sections that makes in a criminal and purnishable offence in the statute .
