In the body i would like to discuss the impact or effect that freedom of speech freedom of press and right to peaceably assemble have on restrictions or allowances in media, tv and newspapers. I would specifically like to focus this on & quot;hate crimes & quot; or & quot;hate speech & quot; the implication that the statement, interview, flyer,article or group meeting should not be allowed to take place because it is determined hate speech or a hate crime. In contrast also discuss how the rights of non hate groups such as the gay rights community have been restricted in this past and for what reasons and the same for the KKK or other popular groups or causes. Please us specific historical court cases as examples for the controversy and double edge sword problem with allowing for freedom of press,speech and assembly and than trying to restriction them. Discuss the impact of theses amendment clauses on the history of the media and history of the law using specific examples such as court cases and media examples. The conclusion should slightly reflect my opinion on the matter which is i agree that mostly all things should be allowed to be expressed in our media. However i also agree with the restricting media only when it is flagrantly harmful or threatening to our community and only than should our rights be restricted when something is dangerous or drastically offensive and distasteful.
