Your assignment is to prepare a marketing communications plan for BA to restore public confidence and ensure Terminal 5 achieves its full potential. The document should address all key marketing communication issues associated with the case including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: • A situation analysis. • A brief outline and assessment of marketing communications to date. • Aims, objectives and issues addressed by your plan. • Key message or messages you wish to convey. • Rationale for the audiences you are targeting. • Identification of appropriate communications media. • Key features, milestones and measures of success. • Proposed budget. The assessment will be a 3500 word individual report that should be positioned as though you are seeking BA support for your plan. For purposes of the report assume you are a Marketing Manager with BA. Include an executive summary, and beyond that any structure you believe will be effective for securing the approval of BA’s Marketing Director. You know the Director places strong value on relevant academic theory and research, and will only accept proposals that provide adequate reference to a relevant marketing and business. You also know the Director has already earmarked & #163;10 million for the campaign over the coming year or so, though you also know the approved budget could ultimately be higher or lower.
