From the review choose one research article, which must be qualitative, and fully appraise this study. a) Literature search Provide a brief introduction to the particular topic or area you have selected and explain why it is important. Explain in detail your approach to conducting the literature search. You should identify the databases, search terms and search engines utilised and discuss the availability of both qualitative and quantitative research studies within this literature search. If research studies using a particular approach are unavailable or limited (for example, only qualitative studies are identified), or no recent research is available, you are expected to discuss why this might be so. However, this appraisal should not be a series of answers to the questions on the checklist but should present a critical analysis and discussion of the key strengths and weaknesses identified for this study.
