I have also listed several terms/concepts that may be discussed in your comment. You are to select any four (4) of the listed terms/concepts and write about those selected terms/concepts. You must select from the list provided. You are not to select your own concepts to discuss. Clearly identify the terms/concepts you have selected. Each comment should be approximately 1-1 ¼ pages in length, and absolutely no longer than 1 ½ pages in length. The total paper you submit should be no longer than 5 pages (or 1250 words). The Olivo text may be used for definitions and explanations, but if you solely rely on Olivo as your source, you will not do well on the Final Exam. You do not have to do any additional research. Remember, although this is an essay format, this is your Final Exam and you are trying to prove to me that you understand the material covered in the course so far, and that you can read the passage provided and make clear and relevant comments on the passage. If you should use additional sources, a full cite and/or bibliography will be required. If you only use the Morton and Olivo texts, and the assigned readings, you must refer to a particular page (Morton, 57) or (Olivo, 10) or (McLachlin, 2005, 5). Note: I added the date for the McLachlin speech because there are two speeches from Madame Justice McLachlin on the syllabus and the date distinguishes them. You should refer to your sources when you quote directly and when you refer to an idea or comment, even if not directly quoted. Review the University Policy on Plagiarism, attached to our syllabus. References to the texts and assigned readings prove to me that you are familiar with the material and not simply writing the analysis (commentary) "off-the-top-of-your-head."
