Please prepare a formal report using all of the reading, interpreting, analyzing and writing skills you have practiced and applied throughout this course. Topic: Your topic will be a thorough analysis of a nonprofit organization. Some suggestions might be the Red Cross, American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, etc. Length: Your report should be double spaced and be at least 10 pages. Format: You should prepare your report mirroring APA format. Use 1 inch margins. Criteria: Include a cover page and reference page (not included in length requirement). Include an abstract which may be included in page requirement. Include an introduction, background, detailed analysis, and conclusion. Include at least 5 references as well as your textbook reference. Cite references according to APA guidelines. Use in-text citations when applicable. Do a thorough analysis of the financial information for this organization. Compare at least two periods of financial data. For example, 2006 compared to 2007. Prepare at least one or two tables summarizing the financial data. If the tables are very long, create an appendix. Provide a ratio analysis of the financial information and explain the implications. Chapter 4 will be a good supporting reference for this section of the report. Provide an explanation of the financial data in text form to support your financial analysis. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. Prepare a sound conclusion including recommendations based on the discussions and feedback given throughout the class regarding conclusions. Proof read your document for spelling and grammar errors so your final copy is clean and is professionally presented. Due: Monday, April 21st by midnight.
