The class is called Sport and Exercise Psychology. My chosen topic is wrestlers and weight cutting/ eating disorders. Write a paper on a topic relevant to sport and exercise psychology. Use someone (a professional athlete, TCNJ athlete, or a friend to illustrate the points of your paper. Personalizing your paper enhances your research. Basically, introduce a concept and then use your person as an example of the concept. For example, if you are talking about injuries provide information about the concept of sport injuries and then discuss your individual in relation to their injuries. Do not save all of your examples from you identified person until the end of the paper. Rather integrate your person throughout your paper. Using “I” and “me” is fine too. Also using interviews could work. The paper must: Be 10-12 pages double spaced -provide an introduction that includes a statement as to the purpose of the paper and what exactly you’re going to focus on in your paper. -The actual purpose of the paper should be stated within the first page or so. -There also must be a conclusion. -It should be typed in size 12 font in Times New Roman with one inch margins, and pages should be numbered in the upper right hand corner. -Headings may be used to organize the paper. -The paper must have 8-10 scholarly articles (APA format) from 1996- the present. -The scholarly articles must be at least 7 pages each. -If an article is obtained online it must be indicated on the reference page as an electronic version of your reference. -Do not have more than one direct quote per page. Paraphrasing is usually necessary. -The paper must be written and cited in APA format!
