Using any current issue that has been in the news during the semester, you will critique the way public relations was handled by the organization and present an action plan for a better way to handle similar crises in the future. You should pay particular attention to improvements or changes that could or should be made regarding such issues as ethics, the public relations process, strategies and/or tactics. Papers must not simply describe a situation; they must analyze and build an argument from a public relations perspective.A minimum of 5 books or scholarly journal articles must be cited; only one Web site may count toward this requirement (however, unlimited journal articles retrieved from online library databases will count). Also, no more than 2 popular press items (newspaper articles, news stories, etc.) will count toward the 5 required sourcesThere is no maximum number of sources and all sources should be properly cited. Here is an outline that I made a while ago---before the election, but obviously the paper will be different since the election has occured. You do not have to necessarily follow the outline completely since it is vary vague.
