Justine has hit hard times and is currently unemployed and homeless. Following the break up of his marriage a year ago he has developed a severe drinking problem. He was living in a hostel but was asked to leave because he insisted on keeping his dog (Sparrow).Both Justine and Sparrow are now sleeping rough. Justine says that he has lost a lot of weight over the past few months and states that it is made worse by his ever increasing episodes of severe indigestion. To compound his problems he has developed a persistent cough and this has somewhat forced him into making a decision to seek medical advice. POINTS TO CONSIDER What problems arise from Justine''s situation physically, psychologically and socially? How can Justine access health and financial assistance? How can he be helped?
