General Content Guidelines Review the guidelines in the Requirements for Papers, located in About Your Course > Course Overview and Guide. Compose a comparison/contrast paper on "The Destructors" and "The Rocking-Horse Winner." The paper should include the following in this order: title page, thesis sentence and outline, and essay. A comparison/contrast of the authors'' purposes: To entertain? To satirize? To show realistically a problem of life? To analyze emotions and responses? To communicate a moralistic message? Avoid colloquial, bland catchalls (e.g., nice, cute, o.k., good guy, bad guy, and so-so, Fer sure!) Use MLA format for your essay.
