Critical Analysis Each student should select an issue which they view as relevant to race and crime and prepare a critical analysis of the issue. The analysis should (1) clearly state the issue explaining why it is viewed as a race and crime issue giving a brief description of the current impact this issue is making on society; (2) present arguments on both sides of the issue (it is a race/ethnic issue as it relates to crime and it is not a race/ethnic issue as it relates to this particular issue; (3) review two articles (either pro or con) from academic journals that address the issue; (4) outline a plan that you feel would work to either end discrimination or the idea that discrimination exists as it relates to this issue including your projections for the future resolution of this problem. The critical analysis must be submitted to the assignment drop box by the date designated on the calendar as a Microsoft word or RFT attachment. The analysis is worth a maximum of 100 points.
