Understanding of meditation and its process is very vague. I have this thought in my head that is shown of a bald man sitting on a pillow in a quiet place with their hands together eyes closed and looking like he is concentrating very hard. However, after reading the lecture my understanding of meditation purpose was enlightened. Instead of concentrating I learned that the goal of meditation is exactly the opposite. The ultimate goal is to think of nothing. This goal is not easily reached that there is a process for preparing myself for meditation, meditating and the after thought. ........My first week was very difficult for me. I only was able to meditate for about 15 min. Focusing on meditation for me was only for about 7-10 min at a time. After about 15 min all week, I gave up and will try for 20 min at a time starting next week.
