1. Each student write a research paper on a social work issue based on scientific findings published in social work or related scientific journals. The paper must include: a. Statement or Research Problem ( In Increase in Homeless in Rural America) b. Specific Objectives or specific questions it attempts to answer or specific hypotheses it attempts to test. c. Methods of the study: (Which is basically, review of available literature i. The major variable or variables ii. Measurement procedures, including variations, if exist, across studies. iii. Research desigh, including varations, if exist, across studies. Findings ( this section should have sub-sections and subheadings appropriate to the corresponding objectives. Findings must include specific statistics on appropriate variables for the corresponding objectives.) Conclusions ( This section must have broad statements about new knowledge on each objective that is supported by findings and methods, but no statistics here) Implications (Discuss how the knowledge gained from this research, i.e. the broad statements in conclusion will influence one to become a better social worker. All these bold elements must be identified and described in own words under these headings and additional subheadings, if necessary. All reports must include appropriate cover page. APA style.
