Required Readings: Gall Ch. 5 - 6 Instructions: Choose any general topic in education that is of the most interest to you (e.g., student retention, student success, teacher retention, etc.). Then choose any one experimental methodology and any one non-experimental methodology to use in answering a research question for that topic. For EACH approach, write a two to three page paper in which you state the research question, describe a target population, describe a sampling methodology, and state the data collection procedures that you will use. Each of these two papers should present the work within the quantitative framework you have chosen (you will have two frameworks thus two papers all looking at the same research question). Some overlap may occur but there will also be differences. The outcome of these papers is for you to demonstrate a basic understanding of how you would develop the same research topic but from two different quantitative approaches
