The title of the assignment is "My development as an integrative psychotherapist". It must be between 2000 and 3000 words (3000 max) with no references and bibliographie counted. I want this paper to be written in the APA style. Moreover it is like a personal development paper, a synopsis of a diary. A discussion of the influences that i have, personal staff, theoretical staff, about my character, what kind of person i am. Why am i interested in this profession, which is my history which theories i like, why do i study integrative humanistic counselling and psychotherapy. It has to do with developing my own style as an integrative psychotherapist. The title of my master is "Integrative Humanistic Counselling And Psychotherapy", and this paper is for the first semester of the second and final year of my studies. I have a bachelor degree in early childhood education. During my studies i have taken lessons in developmental psychology, school psychology, group dynamics, parental counselling, child and psychoanalysis, problems faced by the young students in their transition from home to school. I like all the different orientations in therapy like Gestalt, Person-centered, relational, cognitive, transactional analysis existential etc but some i just prefer less like psychodynamic, transpersonal or psychoanalysis. In the future i hope that i can combine these two areas and study about child therapy which i find very ineresting. Integrative psychotherapy combines all the therapeutic tratments and has a variety of theory which i love and skills as well as tactics. I have just started my practice at the university where i provide counselling in homeless and immigrants. I participate in group therapies and seminars about counselling and stress, grief, family and group counselling, relaxation teckhniques etc.
