Below I have put the topic that the teacher suggested (in quotes). What I want from this paper, is to ask the question-- is (the legalization of) drug reimportation the most cost effective strategy for the U.S.? Canada? To answer this question, and this is the MOST IMPORTANT PART, I need an ECONOMIC MODEL. This must include data organized in an excel document, regression analysis...i.e. a p-value, confidence interval, graphs, etc. Talk about how you arrived at these values and what they mean for the findings (i.e. - it IS/IS NOT most cost effective for US/CANADA). I mainly want to focus on the United States. I also want some secondary economic conclusions for Canada. Also, but not necessary, would be something about price differentials favored by the UN. I must stress again, that this is an ECONOMICS thesis, so it is NOT an argument proving it should be legalized or not...it is an economic and statistical test of a hypothesis and the subsequent results. “13. Interestingly, the UN favors differential pricing (i.e., price discrimination) for poor countries, which would be more difficult if reimportation were allowed.
