Try searching one or several of the following keywords: plagiarism, sampling, copying, literature, music, etc. The case of plagiarism does not need to be about music. Each article should be at least three or four paragraphs long but preferably longer. Try to get articles from different stages in the drama, including initial discovery or accusation, author/artist’s response, and aftermath. Write a _ - 1 page paper discussing the articles. Describe what the specific allegations about the plagiarism are, how the accused author defends his- or herself, and the public response to the situation. Present your own opinion about whether the case truly represents plagiarism and why or why not. Consider and integrate your answer to the following question: Do you think that the proliferation of digital information contributes to the raised awareness of plagiarism or simply to the discovery of it, and why or why not? Include full and proper citations for the articles you use (use your style guide!).
