It should not contain descriptions, results or conclusions that are not given in full elsewhere in the portfolio. 3) Evaluation Report Write a report based on the reference material which • Introduces the topics • Reviews the articles/references in the reference material • Shows a critical awareness of the distinction between the variety of related issues allowing to isolate, identify and master the key concepts in each area • Critically analyses and evaluates the technologies needed for the solution • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding and undertake a critical appraisal of the underlying core principles and concepts • Demonstrates awareness of legal and ethical issues pertaining to each area • Discusses the likely importance of the topics in the computing industry over the next few years The portfolio should be not more than 4000 words. Assessment This assignment assesses all of the module’s learning outcomes specified in terms of performance capability to be shown on completion of the module: 1. Critically analysis and evaluate computer systems architectures. 2. Critically discuss the principles and methods associated with software hierarchy and elements of systems software required to support computer applications. 3. Undertake a critical appraisal of the key principles of networking and techniques commonly used to provide reliable and useful communications within a computer networks and distributed computer systems. 4.
