This paper forms part of security risk managament course. The emphasis on ''security'' and ''risk''. The essay should define the keys terms to be used in the essay and cite examples of their definitions. The single type of organisation I choose for this essay is large retail shops e.g. Tescos, Mark and Spencers etc. The esssay should identify the majority of risks faced by a security manager and then select three of the most serious types of risks and then compare and contrast these three. Examples of risk could include: shop theft, burglary, employee theft, theft of cash transported to banks, crimnal damge by gabgs at night etc etc. Stuides should be quoted in respect of the risks identified to establish they are genuine risks. Having identified the risks the essay should then go on to discuss the specifc security measures to be adopted to combat the risks identified above. Issues of effectivesness, costs and implementation should be discussed and why these methods are favourded in preference to other possibilites. Lastly the main points of the essay should be succintly concluded summarising the main points and reinforcing the point why these particular means employed to combat the securtity risks were used.
