Your aim is to find out what would motivate your peers in the workplace. Ask 10 people to complete your questionnaire and then analyse the information that you have collected. Analysis of the findings will involve you looking at what your respondents are telling you and summarising that information in order to find out what motivates them. How do your findings compare with what the theory proposes? 2) You are then required to write a structured essay about your findings. In doing so: •?Review motivation theory and research and consider the theories strengths and weaknesses. •?Based on your findings, evaluate the extent to which motivation theory has practical relevance for organisations in understanding what and how to motivate their employees. In giving your response, you must make reference to academic theory and research and show understanding of the subject informed by your reading. A critical approach to the topic is expected, by demonstrating the relative strengths and limitations of the theory and by comparing them and considering their relevance in practice. This structured essay should have a well organised presentation and a well structured and coherent argument. The essay should follow Harvard Referencing Format and be word processed using 12 point font and 1.5 line spacing.
