Title Page: To include Name, Course (Managerial Accounting AC505, Instructor (Howard Katz), Date. 2.Table of Contents: List major sections of paper and where they start, identify any appendix or tables and their page numbers, list page for references and its page number. 3. Describe the topic of Activity Based Costing and how it relates to magerial accounting and the general anaysis being done in the paper (how it is used in the Federal Government). Limit this part of the paper (including purpose, scope and methodology) to 2 pages or less. Purpose: Describe the purpose of the paper in a short paragraph. Scope: Describe the boundries of the analysis or any limitations to it. Methodology: Briefly discuss all all steps performed to complete the selected topic in a paragraph. 4. Analysis: Main body of paper, at least 5 pages in length. Subdivide into subtopics that relate back to the sated purpose of the paper. Each subtopic should reference the appropriate sources and various kinds of supplementary information that are contained in Appendices as appropriate. 5. Conclusion/Summary: Summerize results of the analysis and demonstrate that you have accomplished the intended purpose of the paper. It should highlight the main conclusions and what was learned from doing the paper. Suggested length: 2 paragraphs to 1 page. 6. Tables/Appendice:Lable each table/appendice and list its source. 7. References: List all sources used to complete the paper. 8. Footnotes: Where appropriate (either in the bottom of each page or on a seperate Footnotes page that precedes the references page. These are the requiremetns qiven to me by the instrutor. The paper should basically be about how the government would use Activity Based Costing in its operations or any difficulties it would have in using this type of costing.
