Select,prepare and use a range of resources suitable for children''s ages,interests and abilities,taking account of diversity and promoting equality and inclusion This Standard describes how EYPs select,prepare,organise and manage resources in ways that best support all children''s learning and development.The choice of resources alone will not ensure equality and inclusion;it is also the way in which they are used that will promote both. Resources that are of interest to children are more likely to motivate them to learn and develop.EYPs ensure the resources they use are: .suitable for the age and interests of the children using them; .suitable,as far as is reasonable,for children with learning difficulties or disabillities and those learning English as an additional language; and .reflect positively the ethnic,social,cultural and religious diversity in society.
