In this module''s Case analysis, you were asked to become familiar with the dynamics of IT change and the politics of information You were asked to intellectually consider why people act politically, can politics be organizationally beneficial and is information a form of organizational or personal power. As noted in previous SLP paper introductions however, the real test is whether you personally can use these principles to improve some element of your immediate work setting or perhaps use them in the development and pursuit of a new project or other activity. Your task for this Module four SLP paper is to briefly describe a well managed IT project, maybe it is a project you recently finished or a project you have been through before. Your focus is primarily on political and power issues when implementing IT/ other organizational change... Again, you will need an appropriate title page, 3-4 pages of solid descriptive narrative and appropriate references. Please note that it is okay, or even encouraged to use the project in SLP of Module 1, or module 2, and 3. You can discuss this project from the perspective of managing IT politics and planned organizational change. Once again, if you are not currently working in an IT capacity, simply use a typical work setting from your current or a former workplace.
