This is a paper for Environmental Economics and Policy course, which is an undergraduate senior level economic class. The topic will be focused on whaling but to be more specific, Japanese whaling and the sustainability of whale in Antarctic Ocean. I want to relate whaling with the environment by, first, stating the position and the importance of whale in the food chain, and the affect of whaling. Also, include the fact that demand for the whale meat in Japan is decreasing, showing that it is not cost efficient to whale so much anyways to begin with. And to connect to the policy by bringing up the conflicts that Japanese governments are having with other organizations and countries due to their whaling businesses.
